What is micropigmentation?Micropigmentation is the process of implanting pigment into the skin using a needle—commonly known as cosmetic tattooing. All brow tattooing techniques fall under this category, including Microblading, Combo Brows, Powder Brows, and Nano Brows. What is Microblading? Microblading uses a handheld tool with a nano blade to create fine, hair-like strokes by implanting pigment into the skin. It’s our most natural-looking technique and is best suited for those with normal to dry skin. Results typically last 2–3 years. What are Combo Brows? Combo Brows combine Microblading with soft shading or powder to add depth and definition. After the hair strokes are placed, we use a machine and nano needle to gently shade the brows, creating a more filled-in look while keeping a natural feel. What are Powder Brows? Powder Brows are a fully shaded, soft-powdered technique done with a machine. This method gives the brows a more filled-in, makeup-like appearance—perfect for those who like a polished look or have oily, mature, or textured skin. The result is soft, defined brows that last 2–3 years or more. What are Nano Brows? Nano Brows use a very fine machine needle to create individual, hair-like strokes. Similar to Microblading, but gentler and more precise, this technique is great for most skin types and offers long-lasting, natural results.

Micropigmentation AftercareWhat to do after your micropigmentation procedure: Blot the area: For the first 1–2 hours, gently blot your eyebrows with a clean, dry tissue to remove any excess lymph or blood. Cleanse the area: For 10–14 days, cleanse your brows twice daily (morning and night) using the soap provided. Apply 1–2 pumps of soap on clean fingers or a cotton round and gently wipe in a linear motion. Avoid scrubbing or circular movements. Apply aftercare balm: Use a small amount of aftercare balm (less is more!) and apply it to the brow area 3 times a day for the first 10–14 days. Use clean fingers or a Q-tip for application. Avoid picking or scratching: Do not pick, scratch, or disturb the scabs as they heal. Let them fall off naturally. Avoid makeup and skincare on the treated area: For 10–14 days, keep makeup, skincare, and lotions away from your brows. After healing, avoid using anti-aging or acne products directly on the brow area. Keep your brows dry: For 10–14 days, avoid getting your brows wet in the sauna, during exercise (excessive sweating), or swimming. Shower precautions: Use the provided shields to protect your brows from direct water exposure while in the shower, keeping the area dry. No sun exposure: For 10–14 days, avoid direct sun exposure. After healing, apply SPF to the area daily with a sunscreen stick or balm to protect your brows. Watch for signs of infection: If you notice signs of infection or abnormal swelling, contact your physician immediately. Follow-up appointment: Schedule your follow-up appointment 8-12 weeks after your initial procedure to ensure the best results and touch up as needed.
-
Micropigmentation PrecareBefore Your Appointment: No Fresh Tints or Henna: Please do not come with freshly tinted, dyed, or hennaed brows. We need to see your natural brow color for accurate color matching. If this prevents us from completing your service, 100% of the service fee will still apply. No Sun Exposure or Tanning (14 Days Before & After): Sunburned or tanned skin cannot be treated. Sun exposure acts as a natural exfoliant and can cause pigment to fade or heal unevenly. If you arrive with a tan or sunburn, your appointment will need to be rescheduled, and your deposit will be forfeited. Avoid Spray Tans: No spray tans before your appointment or for 14 days after the procedure. Schedule Around Travel/Vacations: Please do not book your appointment within 2 weeks of a water or sun-heavy vacation. You must avoid swimming, hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, and hot yoga after the procedure. No Botox, Fillers, or Facial Treatments: Avoid Botox, dermal fillers, facials, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels for 2 weeks before and after the procedure. Injections like Juvederm, Radiesse, Voluma, etc., must be spaced appropriately. Pause Certain Medications & Skincare: Antibiotics: Must be stopped 4–6 weeks before your appointment, as they can push pigment out of the skin. Acne Medications (e.g., Spironolactone): Stop 4 weeks before and after both initial and follow-up appointments. Retinol/Retin-A: Discontinue 7 days prior, as it can cause skin sensitivity and bleeding. Chemical Peels or Laser Treatments: Not allowed within 60 days before or after the procedure. Avoid Waxing, Threading, or Shaping Brows: Stop shaping, waxing, threading, or tinting at least 10 days prior. Your artist will shape your brows for a natural look during the appointment. Avoid Blood Thinners: Refrain from taking aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, fish oil, or vitamin E 5 days prior and 24 hours after your procedure—unless medically required. These can increase bleeding and affect pigment retention. No Alcohol or Caffeine: Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and caffeine for 12 hours before your appointment to minimize bleeding and pigment loss.
-
Can I wear makeup after the procedure? Please avoid wearing makeup on or near the treated area until the healing process is complete. You’re welcome to apply makeup elsewhere but be cautious not to get products on the healing brows or lips.
-
Does it hurt? No! Pain is very minimal, I use numbing throughout the service to ensure comfort, most clients fall asleep during their brow session! However, your brows may feel sore at the end, similar to a sunburn feeling. You may take Ibuprofen after your appointment if needed.
-
What can I expect after my appointment?Immediately after your permanent makeup procedure, it's normal for the treated area to appear red, slightly swollen, or more intense in color. This typically subsides within 24 hours. Over the next few hours, the pigment will oxidize, causing the brows to appear darker and redder than they were immediately after the procedure. Don’t worry—this is completely normal and expected. Once healed, the pigment will typically fade by 20–40%. Around days 3 to 4, you may notice scabbing or flaking in the treated area. This is part of the natural healing process. Do not pick or scratch—this can result in pigment loss or scarring. It’s also common to see spots or patchiness during this time, which will even out as your skin heals. After flaking is complete (usually around day 10), your brows will look much lighter. Over the next 4 to 6 weeks, the pigment will gradually return and settle into the skin, revealing your healed results. Full healing takes 4 to 6 weeks. At your follow-up appointment, we’ll evaluate how your skin retained the pigment, touch up any areas as needed, and make any necessary color adjustments to ensure your brows look natural and beautiful for up to 36 months.
-
How long does it last? After your required touch up, 8-12 weeks after your first appointment, brows will last up to 2-3 years with proper precare and aftercare.
-
I want to book a specific style brow, why is 'initial micropigmentation' the only option? All techniques are priced the same. We’ll have a thorough consultation at your appointment to decide which option is best for you based on your lifestyle, preferences, skin type, and overall goals.
-
Can I book a consultation?Feel free to reach out via email with pictures of your brows and inspiration. You can also book a brow shaping and/or tint appointment where we can chat, map out your brows, and discuss the best options for you.
-
How do I choose the right technique? At your first appointment, we'll discuss your skin type, brow goals, age, and any medical considerations to determine the best technique for you. Microblading is best for normal to dry skin with smooth texture, while Powder Brows work well for most skin types, including oily or mature skin. Nano Brows offer the look of fine hair strokes with added precision and depth, making them a great choice for those wanting a soft, natural finish with more dimension.

Brow Lamination ContraindicationsBrow lamination is generally safe, but there are some contraindications or situations where it may not be recommended. Here are the main ones to be aware of: 1. Sensitive Skin or Allergies If you have sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, or any skin conditions around the eyebrow area, brow lamination might not be ideal. The chemicals used in the process could irritate or worsen skin conditions. If you’re prone to allergic reactions, it’s important to patch test the products before your treatment. 2. Open Cuts, Wounds, or Infections If you have any open cuts, wounds, or infections on your brow area, brow lamination should be avoided. The chemicals can cause irritation or further damage to broken skin. 3. Pregnancy or Breastfeeding While there’s no conclusive evidence that brow lamination is harmful during pregnancy or breastfeeding, many professionals recommend avoiding any chemical treatments during this time as a precaution. If you’re unsure, it’s always best to consult with a doctor. 4. Recent Chemical Treatments If you've had other eyebrow treatments like tinting, microblading, or chemical peels recently, it’s advisable to wait before getting brow lamination. The hair might be too fragile or reactive to the chemicals involved in lamination, and it could lead to damage. 5. Excessively Thin or Fragile Brow Hairs If your brow hairs are already very thin, weak, or damaged, brow lamination might not be suitable as the chemical treatment can sometimes exacerbate hair breakage. If you’re worried about the health of your brow hairs, it’s best to discuss this with me first. 6. Active Skin Conditions Conditions like acne or rosacea on the brow area may react negatively to the products used during brow lamination, as they can be irritating to inflamed skin. 8. Before or After Other Hair Removal Procedures If you've had recent waxing, threading, or tweezing from yourself or another artist, it's recommended to wait at least 24–48 hours before getting brow lamination. This ensures that the skin is not irritated or overly sensitive. If you're thinking about getting the treatment, it’s always a good idea to have a consultation to discuss any skin concerns or conditions you may have. Have you had any reactions to eyebrow treatments in the past? That could help guide your decision!

What is brow lamination?Brow lamination is a beauty treatment that involves a chemical process to shape, smooth, and set the brow hairs in place. It’s often used to create fuller, more defined brows, or to tame unruly, coarse hairs. Here’s how it works: Lifting and Shaping: The technician applies a special solution to your eyebrows that breaks down the bonds in the hair, allowing them to be repositioned into a more uniform shape. Setting the Brow: Once the hairs are in the desired position, a setting solution is applied to lock the brows in place. Results: The result is a sleek, lifted look where the brows appear fuller, more symmetrical, and shaped exactly how you want them. Brow lamination can last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. You can also add tinting to enhance the overall effect.
-
How do I care for laminated brows?Brush them daily with a spoolie to keep them in place, and use a nourishing brow serum or oil to keep the hairs healthy and hydrated.
-
What should I avoid after the treatment? For the first 24–48 hours, avoid getting your brows wet, using makeup or skincare products on the brow area, and exposing them to heat, steam, or excessive sweating.
-
Can I get my brows tinted or shaped at the same time?Absolutely! Brow tinting and shaping (waxing or tweezing) are often done during the same session to enhance the final result.
-
Can I get brow lamination while pregnant or breastfeeding? While there’s no conclusive evidence that brow lamination is harmful during pregnancy or breastfeeding, many professionals recommend avoiding any chemical treatments during this time as a precaution. If you’re unsure, it's best to consult with your doctor first. Hormonal changes can affect skin sensitivity and results, so it’s important to proceed with caution.
-
Brow Lamination AftercareTo ensure your brows heal properly and maintain their shape, please follow these aftercare instructions: Keep your brows dry: For 24–48 hours, avoid getting your brows wet. This includes avoiding steam, sweating, swimming, or any facial treatments. Avoid touching your brows: Refrain from touching, rubbing, or picking at your laminated brows during the first 48 hours. No makeup or skincare on brows: For the first 24–48 hours, do not apply makeup or any skincare products to your brows. This allows the lamination to set properly. Brush your brows daily: Gently brush your brows daily with a clean spoolie to keep them in place and maintain the fluffy, lifted look. Avoid oils and heavy creams: Do not use oil-based products or heavy creams around your brow area for 7–10 days as they can break down the lamination and affect the results. Avoid sun exposure and excessive heat: Try to limit sun exposure and avoid saunas, hot yoga, or excessive heat for the first 24–48 hours to prevent the brows from losing shape. Stay away from harsh skincare treatments: For 2 weeks, avoid facials, chemical peels, or any treatments that could irritate or weaken the brow hairs. Moisturize: Apply a small amount of brow serum or oil daily to keep your brows hydrated and healthy. Be patient: It’s normal for your brows to feel a bit more stiff or rigid right after the procedure. This will soften as they settle into their new shape over the next few days. With these simple steps, your brow lamination will stay fresh, fluffy, and perfectly lifted!

What is hybrid tint?A hybrid tint is a long-lasting brow dye that combines the benefits of regular tint and henna. It stains both the skin and brow hairs, creating a fuller, more defined look that lasts longer than traditional tinting, which only tints the hair.
-
How long does hybrid tint last?Depending on skin type, hybrid can last up to 2 weeks on the skin and 7 weeks on the hair.
-
Hybrid Tint AftercareFor best results, avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours. If you want them to last even longer, try not to scrub them while washing your face, or simply keep them dry. Tint will gradually fade as time goes on, lasting up to 2 weeks on the skin for a filled in look. However, the tint will remain on the hair for up to 7 weeks.
-
How is it different from regular tint or henna?Hybrid tint offers more intense color than standard tint and better skin staining than henna, with a wider range of shades. It’s also less drying than henna, making it suitable for most skin types.
-
What should I do before my tint appointment?Avoid exfoliating or applying retinol or AHAs near the brow area for at least 48 hours prior. Come with clean, makeup-free skin for the best results
-
How can I maintain the results?Avoid oil-based products and exfoliants around the brows, and limit exposure to water, sweat, and steam in the first 24 hours. A gentle skincare routine will help the stain last longer, no scrubbing or avoid them completely if preferred.
-
What is a lash lift?A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes from the root, giving the illusion of longer, fuller lashes without the need for extensions.
-
How long does it last? Results typically last 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and how well you follow aftercare instructions. Lash lift sometimes last up to 2-3 months.
-
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?Yes! You can wear mascara after 24 hours. Many clients find they don’t need it, but if you want an extra boost, go for a water-based mascara to protect your lift.
-
What’s the aftercare like? For the first 24–48 hours, avoid water, steam, makeup, and lash products. After that, treat your lashes gently—no rubbing, oil-based removers, or waterproof mascaras
-
Who is a good candidate for a lash lift?Anyone with healthy, natural lashes! It's especially great if you want to ditch the lash curler and mascara, or if your lashes grow straight or downward.
-
